Scan pasted text on AI chat sites before you paste it.
What does the extension do?
The HiddenPromptScanner extension intercepts pasted text in chat fields on ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. Before the text is pasted, we check it for harmful AI instructions. When warned, you can cancel or paste anyway.
Installation
Install via the Chrome Web Store (coming soon).
Manual install (developer mode)
- Download or build the extension: cd extension && npm install && npm run build
- Open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode and choose 'Load unpacked'
- Select the extension/dist/ folder
Setup
- Create a free account on HiddenPromptScanner
- Go to Dashboard → API keys and create a new key
- Open the extension settings and paste your API key
